Digital Inside Out
Britain’s affinity with technology has helped to turn the UK into a hotbed of digital development, with British technology companies growing in profitability faster than they have in years. With this in mind, we decided to explore the rise of Digital Britain in more depth.
The result is Fujitsu’s latest research, Digital Inside Out – the only study to examine digital from every angle. We spoke to consumers, employees and business leaders to assess the challenges and opportunities digital brings for organisations. The results are exciting, painting a positive picture of the rise of Digital Britain.

Highlights of the research include:
- 84% of people surveyed ‘always’ or ‘sometimes’ use digital services when possible
- Of these, 63% said they were ‘highly comfortable’ in using these services
- 66% think digital is a quicker way to deal with an organisation, whilst 62% maintained that digital is simpler
However, there is still work to be done in the journey towards a digital future – particularly when it comes to educating, training & supporting people in their use of digital services.
