Fujitsu have been named as VMware’s Systems Integrator of the Year for 2015, beating Accenture and Xtravirt Ltd to the top spot.  This award further underlines the strength of our long standing relationship with the leading software vendor and our commitment to delivering market-leading innovation to our customers.

Fujitsu was voted the winner by VMware’s panel of judges thanks to a year of strong revenue growth for VMware’s vCloud Suite, VRA and NSX solutions, as well as increased joint sales enablement efforts that saw a significant rise in the number of Solution Architects and Distinguished Engineers achieving VMware accreditations and a record number of UK&I attendees at VMworld in October 2015.

As well as this, Fujitsu demonstrated growth with our Converged and Hyper-Converged systems.  95% of these feature VMware technologies and are now being used as the blueprint for all of Fujitsu’s Hybrid IT offerings.

The strength of our long-standing partnership with VMware proved critical to delivering the right solutions for a number of large customers in 2015, and in one case the customer actually took the time to write to Fujitsu in order to highlight that the strength of that relationship was a critical factor in their decision to choose Fujitsu.

I was delighted to collect the award at VMWare’s UKI Partner Recognition dinner yesterday, and am extremely proud on behalf of Fujitsu.  It shows that our continuing commitment to partnering with VMware helps deliver success for VMware, for us, and for our customers.
